SNA is the local chapter of the National Student Nurses? Association. This organization is open to
students in the registered nursing program. The SNA and NSNA provides an opportunity for members
to maximize their leadership potential and enhance their career development.
There are many benefits to being a member of the SNA, such as purchasing health and accident
insurance, discounts on nursing journal subscriptions, discounts to several retail merchants and
opportunities for scholarships.

The National Federation of Licensed Professional Nurses (NFLPN)
NFLPN is the professional organization for licensed practical nurses and licensed vocational nurses and practical/vocational nursing students in the United States.
NFLPN Mission, Values & Vision Statement
The Mission of the National Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses, Inc., is to foster high standards of nursing care and promote continued competence through education/certification and lifelong learning, with a focus on public protection.(www.nflpn.org)
Membership is provided during the first semester at BAPTIST HEALTH Schools Little Rock- School of Practical Nursing (BHSLR-SPN) with fees that are collected at registration.
Benefits of NFLPN membership include a quarterly subscription to "Practical Nursing Journal", opportunity for continuing education and transcripts of continuing education as well as a legislative voice and merchant discounts.
