Altrusa International
Scholarships may be awarded to residents of Pulaski County, Arkansas who are entering or continuing in any educational program in an institution certified by the State of Arkansas including colleges, universities, vocational schools and any other recognized post-high school program of study. Goals of the scholarship are to provide financial assistance to students who may not be eligible for other scholarships. Consideration will be given to financial need, motivation to achieve the highest level of self-improvement and potential for success in the field of study selected. Executive Women International
The Little Rock Chapter of Executive Women International is pleased to announce our Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) scholarships for 2008. This is a flexible scholarship program that addresses the needs of adults who are struggling to improve their status in life through education. We will give four $1,000 scholarships that may be used for tuition, certification programs, books, equipment or seminars. Funds are paid to the educational providers.
Selection criteria include financial need, socially, physically and/or economically disadvantaged adults, displaced homemakers, head of household with children and at-risk adults. Forty percent of the selection criteria is based on financial need. We accept applicants from Pulaski, Saline, and Lonoke counties.

Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association Scholarship
The Foundation of the National Student Nurses' Association scholarship application for 2008-2009 is now available on-line. Scholarship amounts range from $1,000.00 to $2,500.00 and can be used only for tuition, books, and academic fees. The deadline for this scholarship is January 11, 2008.
Fund My Future
This website has been created by the Arkansas Student Loan Authority to encourage individuals to enter or remain in career fields with critical personnel shortages in Arkansas, such as nursing. Fund My Future is in its first phase, so look for more enhanced features in the near future.
Hemophilia Village
To be eligible for the scholarships, students must have either hemophilia A or hemophilia B and be a high school senior, have a graduate equivalency diploma (GED), or be currently enrolled in an accredited junior college, college (undergraduate or graduate), or vocational school.
The P.E.O Educational Loan Fund
The P.E.O. Loan Fund makes loans available to women who are in need of financial assistance to complete their education.
Potlatch Foundation for Higher Education
Applicants must be either:
- A senior student attending high school within 30 miles of a facility of Potlatch Corporation, or
- An undergraduate student currently attending an accredited institution of higher education, and whose permanent residence is within 30 miles of a facility of Potlatch Corporation

Scholarship funds are awarded to low-income single parents living in Pulaski County and other selected counties.
